So here we go. Newly married means I can change not only my legal name but also my online persona. I can finally be the happy housewife that has been lurking inside me these past few months! Even though I work 45 hours a week. But that's irrelevant. Housewifery can be a state of mind, not just an occupation.
Stay tuned for some photos and ideas in the upcoming weeks. There will be Pinterest-inspired meals (to be judged win or fail) as well as holiday decorating/baking ideas and whatever else I think up whilst waiting for my husband to get home from his second-shift job at night.

Finally, for anyone interested, I will explain briefly the blog title. My name is actually Rachel, but people close to me (ie my mom, and my husband) settled on the nickname Rae. The Really? part comes from the frustrated, exasperated, eye-rolling looks my husband gives me when I say LOOK WHAT I SAW ON PINTEREST! or, OH MY GOD I JUST GOT A COUPON DOUBLER AND THIS BREAD IS ONLY 99 CENTS NOW! He has a love-hate relationship with my thriftiness (read, cheap)ways: he loves that he has more money to spend on pocket knives and motorcycle paraphernalia... but he HATES hearing about it!
